Lola loves:THE SECRET VINTAGE FAIR

Probably some of you noticed that I was absent for a while, but I think I just needed a break. I even thought to end the existence of this blog however negative thinking was finally forced out thanks to the positive feedback I received so far from all of you guys! OK, that's enough about it.

Pictures that you see here were taken some time ago,(exactly during my blogging dilemmas, so sorry for a delay). THE SECRET VINTAGE FAIR I attended took place in Colchester in Liquid night club- former Hippodrome. I was there as a volunteer, but that did not stop me from taking pictures. I hope you like the mix of black and white and color photographs. That place was just filled with people, positive energy and music. Really...a few hours of fun in a retro style.

Just because

Just because it was Saturday, and just because I had nothing else planned I went to the Minories.
The Minories Art Gallery is a professional, contemporary art gallery run by the School of Art, Design and Media.I was happy to explore that beautiful Georgian building once again although I have been there many times.
Downstairs you could see the photography & art exhibition, upstairs  you could meet local artists and makers, buy unique prints, cards and vintage clothes.Only to mention that I met there two lovely girls Janine who runs her own vintage shop and blogs at Lesley's Girls Vintage and Lucy, who organizes the secret vintage fairs and designs original gifts in retro style, her website here.
Ahhhh, the temperature goes up, so lets hope that spring finally found its way to England.

December market

Hello!
I was going to post it earlier however didn't have time so anyway better late than never! I went to the Christmas Art Market organized by Weasel in a Teacup. The event took place in Colchester Arts Centre- the old church. I didn't really buy anything, but I liked lots of stuff, most importantly having fun taking these photos. Hope you will like them.

I could not resist and took a picture of Dr.martens boots, they belonged to the owner of the  store, who sold vintage clothes there...aren't they cool?
